Novo Nordisk partners with Anthropic to speed drug R&D with Claude

Novo Nordisk has partnered with Anthropic to apply Claude models and Claude Science in drug discovery and development workflows, targeting scientific problems where the combination can have the greatest impact. The Danish maker of Wegovy will also use Anthropic frontier models to strengthen AI-driven software development; it already uses Claude to automate trial report generation and cut patient-documentation timelines from months to minutes. The move puts a major pharma pipeline on frontier models to compress R&D and documentation cycles.
