1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ThinkEnix (the “Platform”), available at thinkenix.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. ThinkEnix is a community project and is provided on an as-is basis.
2. Description of Service
ThinkEnix is a community platform for discovering, submitting, and discussing signals about how AI, robotics, and emerging technologies are reshaping real-world industries. The Platform includes user-submitted content, AI-generated content, sector analysis tools, and community features such as upvoting and commenting.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using ThinkEnix, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Accounts
You may create an account using email or third-party OAuth providers (Google, GitHub, Discord). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
ThinkEnix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including but not limited to accounts engaged in harassment, spam, or posting of hateful content.
5. User Content
“User Content” means any content you submit, including signal titles, theses, comments, organization listings, and profile information. You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant ThinkEnix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the Platform.
You agree not to submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or that contains malware or spam. ThinkEnix employs automated content moderation and reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion.
6. AI-Generated Content
ThinkEnix uses artificial intelligence (including third-party AI services) to generate signal analyses, theses, sector assessments, and impact scores. AI-generated content is provided for informational and discussion purposes only.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. ThinkEnix makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content. You should not rely on AI-generated content for making business, investment, or other significant decisions.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
- Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without permission
- Posting spam, phishing links, or malicious content
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
- Posting hate speech, slurs, or content that promotes violence
- Circumventing rate limits, bans, or other access restrictions
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Using the Platform for any illegal purpose
8. Intellectual Property
The ThinkEnix name, logo, design, and original platform code are the property of the ThinkEnix project. User-submitted content remains the property of the respective users. Third-party content linked or referenced on the Platform belongs to its respective owners.
9. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), xAI (AI), Resend (email), and Discord. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. ThinkEnix is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ThinkEnix does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. ThinkEnix does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Platform, whether submitted by users or generated by AI systems.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THINKENIX AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ThinkEnix and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Content Removal & DMCA
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at the email address below with a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing material, and your contact information. We will respond to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.
14. Modifications
ThinkEnix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Termination
ThinkEnix may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 5, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
