Suno launches v6 AI music models with Warner Music, BMG

Suno Inc. released new AI music models in partnership with Warner Music Group and BMG that let users generate tracks inspired by licensed music from participating artists. Flagship v6 (precise generation) and exploratory v6-Wild are for Pro ($8/month) and Premier ($24/month) subscribers; free v6-mini is for all users, with the platform moving fully onto v6. Suno previously settled a Warner copyright suit, signed licensing deals, and recently raised over $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation. Licensed, opt-in artist models matter as a commercial path for AI music after lawsuits and streaming-platform pushback over uncompensated training and unlabeled AI tracks.
